BankDhofar's New Strategy
Bank Dohfar has come up with a new strategy that should help improve their staff's performance hence, improve their services towards their customers.
This strategy involves the bank’s stakeholders which will start with it's own employees.
I never heard of this strategy being implemented in any other company in Oman (let me know in the "comments" section), but a friend of mine once suggested this idea and told me that he might start it in his own company.
I thought that it was a great idea to start from your own employees as it gives them that feeling of responsibility towards the business because they know that they own part of it (theoretically speaking).
“The plan can only be successful if it is properly understood by all staff, and if they feel involved in it at a personal level. Authority and responsibility for every colleague in achieving their personal, departmental and organisation-level goals, is critical for the successful implementation of the Strategic Plan. It is vital that we ensure everyone knows how they fit and interact with the rest of the team, they understand and believe in their own objectives, and have the skills needed to fulfil them. That is what this national programme of workshops is all about.” said the acting CEO; Kris Babicci.
This proves what my friend and I were thinking and I personally think it's a great idea and a great initiative from Bank Dhofar.
