Friendi Press Conference
I was invited to attend today's Friendi press conference on behalf of KnowledgeOman.com. The Conference took place at the Grand Hayatt Muscat at about 11 am.
Most of the questions were answered by Antti Arponen, C
EO of Friendi mobile Oman. This is as much as I can tell you guys for now. I will be doing a full report on this in next week's KnowledgeOman.com front page update which will be on a Saturday.

Friendi Mobile already got a name before it could launch. "OOPS MOBILE". It advertised to book preferred number. Its website sucks. It responds always OOPS Sorry........ I tried day and night like many others. Got fed up now with OOPS. i will continue with my Oman Mobile.

No, just kidding, this is Antti from FRiENDi mobile. You're right, the website got way over-congested, it was simply sooooo many people simultaneously online which is both :) and :( . Anyways, we're working on it, but it's simply that our internet connections get jammed with people.. (we try to make up by adding hundreds of new numbers every day, so nobody will end up missing out after all, but still, I know, it's pretty sad and I couldn't agree more with you that it sucks)
